Museum Architecture: a New Biography
On Saturday 14 December, the Ashmolean, which opened its new building in 2009, welcomes Dr Suzanne MacLeod to speak on the subject of museum design, trends in museum building, and the changing role of museums in society.

Richard Deacon

Richard Deacon has been a leading figure in British sculpture since the 1980s, winning the Turner prize in 1987. He will speak as part of the Museum's 'Why Art Matters' series ahead of his major Tate Britain retrospective next year.
