This month the Ashmolean will open the first of a new series of special displays of contemporary and post-war art, beginning with the first winner of the Turner Prize in 1984, British artist Malcolm Morley. The project is a collaboration between the Museum and the Hall Art Foundation and collectors, Andrew and Christine Hall. Gallery 2, admission free.
Organised in association with the Oxford University Dramatic Society, the curtain will rise on talks, tours, workshops and live performance, as visitors explore how theatre and art have interacted throughout the ages.
